ALL-IN REMOVAL needs Operations Manager

Company Overview: All-In Removal is the largest Horse Manure Removal Company in the Ocala area and has recently entered into the Shavings Delivery arena. Currently, we operate 7 Roll-Off trucks as well as four Walking Floor Semi Trucks. In addition to horse manure removal and shavings delivery, All-In also provides dumpsters for construction debris, household cleanouts, yard debris and many other uses. We are a growing company and are looking for the right people to assist and join us in that growth.

Operations Manager Job Purpose: The Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that the day to day operations of the company run smoothly. The Operations Manager is also responsible for ensuring that effective methods are put into place so that the company runs to its maximum productivity.

Scope: The Operations Manager reports to the President/CEO of All-In Removal and is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the implementation of effective methods and strategies.

Operations Manager Job Duties:

· Supervise a staff of 15-25 employees.
· Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various departments such as Safety, IT, Marketing, Maintenance and Operations.
· Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals.
· Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
· Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures including safety policies.
· Play a role in assisting the President/CEO in long term planning, including an initiative toward operational excellence.
· Liaison with the President to assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans
· Will work with company mechanic to ensure proper service of company vehicles, record keeping and adherence to safety protocols.
· Responsible for improving company IT program including, website, production software, mobile applications and social media.
· Hold bi-weekly safety and production meetings with staff.
· Communicate with Business Manager all necessary documents, information and records necessary for accounting and invoicing.
· Maintain inventory records of all company assets.
· Will create an in-house marketing department that will work toward building All-In Removal into a recognizable brand in the equine community specifically.
· Create a purchasing and procurement process that ensures that the company is maximizing its value when acquiring goods and services.
· Assisting Business Manager in streamlining administrative duties such as billing, record keeping, reporting and customer correspondence.
· Will be part of a team that works to ensure accounts receivables are kept within 30 days.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or Computer Science or Related (preferred)
· CDL/Class A (or willingness to qualify for one)
· Basic Understanding of Transportation and Truck Configurations
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Proficient in QuickBooks
· Information Technology Skills

Bioprocess Engineer-Captozyme

Captozyme, an established local startup that develops enzymes to treat metabolic diseases, is hiring for a Bioprocess Engineer. They are interested in an undergraduate or graduate student with a Biological Engineering background. They are advertising the position as full-time, but might be able to start a student part-time and transition them upon graduation.
This position requires the Bioprocess Engineer to perform work with minimal supervision, after receiving proper training and instructions for the projects assigned. The Engineer is responsible for microbial fermentation process development, optimization, and scale-up for recombinant protein
production. He/She needs to analyze accumulated data, identify parameters for optimization, design and run experiments to optimize fermentation process, and troubleshoot problems. He/She will be involved in process/technical transfer to a CRO/CMO for process scale-up and commercial manufacturing.

The requirements for being considered for the position are listed below; however, personal fit and character will be given particular consideration and weight.

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in chemical engineering, biological engineering, chemistry,
biochemistry or biology.
• Strong background/interest in chemical/biochemical processing.
• Experience with microbial culture, fermentation, and recombinant protein expression is needed.
• Experience with process simulation, design of experiments (DOE), process development, process optimization and scale-up, is desired.
• Ability to plan assigned projects in a way that ensures efficient, thorough and organized execution, in a timely manner, is required.
• Ability to follow written procedures, collect and document data while keeping a high attention to detail is necessary
• Capable to interact and work with other team members to ensure high team productivity.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are needed; good computer skills are highly desired.
•  Strong sense of responsibility, work ethic, and a polite and respectful manner are absolute requirements.

Fall course - Biomedical Engineering for Global Health

This course will broaden understanding of global health concerns and how healthcare technologies can play a role in improving human health in developed and developing regions. The course will cover global health demographics and comparative health systems, plus selected major health problem areas. Basic quantitative and design principles of biomedical engineering as well as introductory epidemiology principles will be covered, and examples will highlight of the impact of biomedical technology on global health. Legal, ethical and cultural issues associated with developing and disseminating new medical technologies will be considered. Topics will be taught at the sophomore level, and to be accessible to non-engineering students and beginning engineering students. 3 credit hours.

 Offered in Fall under BME special topics number BME4931, section 23G0. MWF 4.

Internship/Employment - Full Circle Dairy

Full Circle Dairy in Lee, Florida has a paying job/internship. The company milks about 3000 cows every day. There are about 2250 head of calves and young heifers, of which about 300 are being fed milk. This year they started raising all of the heifers in house. and just built a new baby barn and wean barn and are in the process of building two grower barns. The baby barn has state of the art automated calf feeding system.
