Job Opportunity-Project Engineer
Position: Project Engineer
Job Description
The Project Engineer is responsible for performing calculations and designs to support water resource and land development projects for public- and private-sector clients. Typical projects may include a surface water management system, paving/grading, wastewater collection and transmission, and potable water distribution. Projects may also include permitting support, and engineering activities during project construction. Key responsibilities for this position include:
• Preparation of calculations, designs and reports
• Preparation of construction plans
• Preparation and compilation of permit applications and supporting documents
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Agricultural or Environmental Engineering
• 2 - 4 years design/engineering experience
• Familiarity with Florida Water Management District regulations
• Proficient in surface water modeling, including AdICPR
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Land Development Desktop and/or Civil3D)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
• PE not required, but should have the ability to take the PE exam within 2 years
Salary: Negotiable based on Qualifications
