Position Overview: The Packaging Engineer is an integral position at the Clemens Food Group. The Packaging Engineer develops, designs, tests, and implements packaging materials that are part of the products that are produced, as well as developing processes the also produce the products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Packaging Engineer will be directly involved with Operations to troubleshoot issues, identify opportunities, and solve challenges. The position will work with internal and external resources to bring innovation and cost savings to the organization, and act as the SME for packaging in Clemens Food Group. In addition, they will also lead sustainability projects to reduce waste from packaging materials, working with internal and external resources to set goals and achieve measurable success.
The SFFGS Academic Advising team is now hiring a Federal Work Study student assistant – work to begin in Summer or Fall 2021. Remote work location acceptable.

Congratulations to the ABE Robotics Team which won the 'Best Written Report Award' for ASABE.

The Oklahoma Water Resources Center has several open positions that will be headquartered in Stillwater, OK and serve as an integral part of a new collaborative research effort between the Oklahoma State University-OWRC, USDA-Agricultural Research Services (ARS) and the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). This new joint effort, titled Dam Analysis Modernization of Tools, Applications, Guidance and Standardization (DAM-TAGS), will develop engineering tools, design guidance documents, and computational software and applications for monitoring, inspecting and rehabilitation of aging dams.

experience is a plus, but considerable on-the-job training will be provided.
About
the lab: This lab is part of the Application and Technology Research Unit of
USDA ARS. Our technicians, post-docs and scientists work on several
different research projects related to greenhouses and other aspects of
controlled environment agriculture, in collaboration with UT students and
faculty.
Duties:
use modeling software to simulate energy consumption in greenhouses;
hardware/software support of various hands-on engineering projects, including
UAV sensor platforms, lighting measurement systems, environmental control
systems, and hydroponic systems; utilize 3d printing and CNC machines.
