New Fall 2021 Undergraduate Research Course with Paid Assistantship

Note that the course is limited to 6 participants so interested students will need to apply by August 12, as described at the link below.

This new workshop course will provide these benefits to students

• An opportunity to work in a team to coauthor a scientific paper in a peer-reviewed journal
• A workshop assistantship of $2000 for the semester
• Experience using the R programming environment
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team addressing important problems in agricultural development and food security

Suwannee Valley Feed - Mill Supervisor position

The Mill Supervisor works directly with and reports to the Mill Manager. The position is responsible for managing facilities and personnel to produce animal feed as efficiently as possible while meeting all of Suwannee Valley Feed’s performance guidelines. In general, this position is responsible for setting performance standards, managing labor costs, complying with SVF’s Food Safety & 

Operational Safety Plans, and developing organizational culture.

We are looking for someone that is motivated, can work independently, and understands how to manage & influence people. The position includes a training period in which we will teach them how to operate the entire plant.

Compensation
Annual Salary: $48,100.00 paid bi-weekly
Variable Quarterly Bonus: non-guaranteed quarterly maximum of $2,500.00
