ACL Injury? Applied Neuromechanics Lab looking for study participants
Do you have an ACL injury?
The Applied Neuromechanics Lab is requesting participants for a study examining cognitive function and lower extremity biomechanics following an ACL injury and reconstruction. Participants must be between the age of 18 and 35 and have sustained one ACL tear and surgical reconstruction.
Participants will be excluded if they are currently injured, have had a serious injury within the last year, or have had a previous surgery to their back or lower extremity (aside from reconstruction). Individuals will be asked to perform a battery of cognitive tests, an angle matching task and visuomotor adaptation. Testing will be completed in one visit and is expected to take roughly two and a half hours. For more information, contact Amanda Stone at stonaman@ufl.edu.

Natural Resource Career Showcase-Wed, 3/14
This Wednesday, March 14th is our Natural Resources Career Showcase from 10 am to 2pm at the Reitz Union Breezeway. This is an opportunity to hear from people who work for and recruit at agencies such as the USGS, USFWS, FWC, and more. A full list of participants can be found here. Food and Resource Economics recruiting for Summer B 2018 Master of Agribusiness Program!
The Food and Resource Economics Department is recruiting outstanding students for its one-year Master of Agribusiness (MAB) program. This degree curriculum is specifically designed for students from non-economic and non-business backgrounds.
The MAB provides students the knowledge and skills necessary for careers in a changing and complex agricultural economy. Students take courses in finance, public policy, management strategies, human resource management, risk management, international marketing, decision-making, and quantitative methods. The program blends business and economics with the applied science of agriculture, providing methods for solving real-world problems. It also includes a summer internship in which the students have the opportunity to put to use the skills learned in the program.
The MAB offers students from all disciplines the opportunity to obtain the business background they need to be competitive in the workforce.
Our next class begins Summer B 2018 and we’re accepting applications now! Interested students should have the following completed prior to summer B term:
