Career Conversation with Evan Frisch this Thursday, October 17th at 6:30PM- BE and AOM majors invited!
Come out to Room 122 Frazier Rogers Hall on Thursday, October 17th to speak to one of the ABE advisory board members, Evan Frisch! Evan is Senior Vice President of Productivity Transformation at Keurig Dr. Pepper.
The talk is open to all students of all concentrations and disciplines. We will be using Zoom to communicate with Evan, since he will be in Texas at the time. It will be a back-and-forth conversation, where students can ask and share their answers to questions and Evan will respond with his own. He really wants to hear from YOU. The discussion is informal, and he encourages you to come with questions. The questions do not have to be related to Dr. Pepper Keurig or Evan’s field. Sample questions are below:

ABE Department Scholarship-Open to all BE and AOM students. Deadline 10/15/19
Students, the ABE Department offers a limited number of scholarships only for BE & AOM students, so apply today!

The undergraduate scholarship application can be using the following link. Only students currently enrolled in the BE or AOM major are eligible for an undergraduate ABE scholarship.

NOTE...Current students who apply by October 15th and ARE NOT graduating before Fall 2020 will be considered for scholarships in Spring 2020 and Fall 2020. You do not need to reapply in March.

Scholarship for Brevard County students
The Garden Club by the Sea is currently seeking applicants for the scholarships we will offer for the 2020-21 academic year. These scholarships (usually in the amount of $1,000.00) are offered to undergraduate and graduate students who are U.S. Citizens, residents of Brevard County, FL and are currently or will be enrolled in an accredited college or university as a full-time student pursuing a degree related to Environmental Sciences, Horticulture or Botany and Plant Sciences.

NSF REU program - Aquatic Ecology - Auburn Univ - Summer 2020
We are excited to invite applications from undergraduate students to participate in a National Science Foundation supported summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program focused on the ecology of southeastern ponds, rivers, reservoirs, and estuaries. Ten undergraduate students will work closely with a team of Auburn University faculty to explore aquatic ecosystems, complete a student-driven research project, participate in a variety of professional development and social activities, develop and lead an outreach project, and share their research findings in a symposium at the conclusion of the program. Participants will work closely with our mentors to develop an interdisciplinary project involving complementary fields, such as community ecology, limnology, evolution, fisheries management, molecular biology, conservation, biogeochemistry, biodiversity, and microbiology.
