Job for students with watershed modeling experience

ADA Engineering in St. Pete is currently involved with many large regional modeling efforts using MIKE SHE/MIKE 11 and are looking for an entry to associate level engineer with some background and interest in regional watershed modeling. Some of our projects include the Southern Lee County Flood Mitigation Plan, the A-2 STA Design, and the STA 1W Expansion 2 Design, all of which use MIKE SHE/11. Then we also have some smaller projects that use ICPR 4 (2D).

Spring 2020 Student Degree Application is Open!

The student degree application for Spring 2020 is now OPEN! Students can log on to One.UF and submit their application on the degree application page. The student application will be open until January 31st. You can begin monitoring your lists today, keeping in mind that student applications will appear 24-48 hours after they have submitted it on One.UF. This is because we must sync their applications into the system.

Apply now! 2020 Pigs, Poultry, the Planet, and Data-Driven Problem Solving REEU

We are now accepting applications for the 2020 cohort of the "Pigs, Poultry, the Planet, and Data-Driven Problem Solving" (nicknamed "P4") Research and Extension Experience for Undergraduates summer program, which is funded through the USDA. P4 Fellows will be hosted in Raleigh, NC, by the NC State University Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering in conjunction with the NC State Prestage Department of Poultry Science and NC A&T Department of Animal Sciences. Undergraduate students will have the opportunity to learn/use data science and travel to China in this paid fellowship! Learn more here.

Applications are due January 15th! Only undergraduate students who will still be enrolled through summer 2020 are eligible to apply. All applicants must have prior background in statistics (e.g., completion of one or more statistics courses). More details on eligibility are included on the webpage.

EG Study Abroard mini-fair. November 19th. 10am-1pm


The HWCOE will be hosting a mini study abroad fair for engineering in conjunction with International Education Week 2019 on Nov 19, 2019 at 200 Weil Hall from 10-1pm.

They are inviting program directors from all EG UF Sponsored programs to participate. It will be a fair style event where there will be tables set up for students to interact with the program directors. International Engineering Ambassadors will also talk to students about their experiences.
