Cool Classes in CALS
Looking for courses to make your class schedule next semester? A number of courses like the ones on our website cover a variety of disciplines and can help students explore interests, meet degree requirements, and decide on a potential major, minor, or certificate program.

Apply to Cohort 11 of the CALS Leadership Institute
CALS Leadership Institute is a unique leadership development program for CALS undergraduate students.
Over the course of 17 months (3 semesters), students will engage in leadership modules, an international travel experience, and are paired with a mentor.
Application Deadline: October 18, 2019 by 5 p.m. to the CALS Dean's Office (McCarty Hall D, 2020) at https://cals.ufl.edu/getinvolved/calsli/
Questions can be directed to Dr. Natalie Coers, program director.

Ag Intensification Course-Spring 2020
Dr. Cheryl Palm (ABE) will be teaching a course in Spring 2020, with an
additional 1 hour optional lab. The course is for both undergraduate and
graduate students. For more information contact Dr. Palm at cpalm@ufl.edu. This course is an approved elective for AOM students and can serve as a department elective for BE students.

Scholarship Application is now open. You will find the scholarship application at the following

This one application will make you eligible for
consideration of a host of Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering
scholarships, funded by generous corporate and individual donations to our UF
Foundation (http://www.uff.ufl.edu).
After you have submitted your application, your
department may conduct an interview process.
You will need your Gatorlink ID and password
to enter into the system.
Last year, the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering distributed
over $100,000 in scholarship funds to applicants. The application is very
straightforward, so please apply!
