The sales position at BDS will be responsible for customer relationship management, servicing accounts, identifying new sales opportunities and growing our current market share. Our product is a fertilization product with liming qualities used within the agricultural industry. The position will work directly with the operations manager and production to ensure the company meets the needs of the customer.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1) Develop and execute a sales plan within Florida
2) Support existing customer base and develop a strategy to grow the existing market.
3) Provide customer support throughout the entire sales process.
4) Work to streamline the system of the sales process with the Operations Manager to drive growth and profitability.
Required Skills
1) Must be self-motivated and passionate for growth
2) Strong leadership and decision making skills
3) Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
4) Strong Communication and Reporting Skills
5) Ability to work with multiple team members located in various locations
6) Travel 75% mainly within Central/South Florida
Experience:
2 to 4 year Degree in Agriculture and/or Business. An agricultural background is strongly preferred.
