Course Description
Students will acquire an appreciation for the power of entrepreneurship and innovation in solving contemporary environmental problems. This course will introduce undergraduate students to the entrepreneurial ways in which communities, management agencies, private sector, and non-profit organizations respond to natural resource challenges. We will examine natural resource problems and solutions in water, forestry, and fisheries, including: waste, energy, agriculture, recreation, biodiversity, sustainability, and climate change.
