Shurtape is on a Mission to educate for success. Through our Mission: Packaging Program, we will follow three students who are pursuing futures in the packaging field. Each month, they will be assigned a packaging-themed mission to complete and then report their findings via blog posts on our website. And, we will reward them for their hard work and completion of all 10 missions with $5,000 to put toward the cost of their education. Deadline: Nov 1 http://shurtape.com/missionpackaging

Paperboard Packaging Student Design Challenge
We can have multiple teams (max of 8 people for each team) For this competition it would be better to get teams together before January. They are due May 2016. The Prompt this year: Design an unconventional, innovative premium package for dry goods food packaging. The package should contain a structural component that enhances its function and stands out on upscale grocery store shelves. · The Society of Plastics Engineers SPE Blow Molding Division conducts an Annual Student Design Contest to promote interest in blow molding applications.
The Blow Molding Division offers a $1,000 prize to a student or group of students who submit the winning entry. Enrollment: Feb 28, 2016
