Fagerdala Packaging Inc. is looking for a Packaging Engineer for their Indiana facility.
Description
This position works with sales teams on the development of total packaging solutions for new products by designing and developing samples. Assist in the calculation of packaging cost for quotes. Responsible for new product quality control and providing technique support to the production area. Work with customers, as needed, on current products. Work with others to review and improve efficient productivity. Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized and safe work station/environment. Participates and abides by all company and safety policies and procedures. Participates in training programs. Other duties as assigned.
Work experience requirements
- 1+ years engineer in packaging industry, with emphasis on cost-efficiencies
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills in Office, CAD and other relevant engineering software
