The University of Wisconsin is searching for a qualified candidate to manage labs, shop and assist in the senior design capstone sequence. A recent graduate of an ABE or Agricultural mechanization program with interest in instruction would make an excellent candidate.
Position Overview:
The BSE Instrumentation Specialist will contribute to the research, instruction, and outreach missions of the department in an independent and professional manner. The job requires excellent communication skills with diverse clientele including; faculty, staff, undergraduates, graduate students, and clients from other CALS units. The primary responsibilities include:
1. Develop and maintain the BSE Laboratory
2. Design and fabricate equipment and instruments used for research and instruction
3. Instructional support for BSE courses
4. Solicitation and supervision of billable projects work from other CALS and campus departments
