Campus Life seeks to promote the kindness of great gator neighbors through our
monthly Golden Flamingo Award. Every month OCL invites students to recognize an
outstanding neighbor and award them the Golden Flamingo Award. To kick off our
event, we will be placing 20 marked flamingos will be placed around campus for
students to find. If you find a flamingo, you can win a gift card to several
restaurants in Gainesville! Once you find a flamingo, OCL is asking you to take
a picture with the flamingo and a Great Gator Neighbor that has been kind to
you and post on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. In the post, you should
use the hashtag #GreatGatorNeighbor and tag @UFOffCampusLife. Next, come to the
OCL office (1304 Diamond Road), and show OCL staff the picture to receive a
gift bag with a clear fanny pack, food gift card, and stickers. We hope
you’ll participate in the online monthly Golden Flamingo award nominations
