Are you interested in applying biology, chemistry, and engineering skills to study the nature of food? Check out the exciting world of FOOD SCIENCE with our upcoming FOOD WEEK. Hosted by the Food Science & Human Nutrition Department, activities will be held from September 9 – September 13 and include movies, beverage samples & demonstrations, and a FSHN MasterChef Competition.
Compete in the FSHN Master Chef Competition! Are you creative in the kitchen? Can you demonstrate your superb cooking skills under pressure? fshnadvising@ifas.ufl.edu by 11:59 PM on Thursday, September 5th. If selected, you will compete in the next FSHN MasterChef competition on Thursday, September 12 from 2 PM – 5 PM in the FSN Building (Pilot Plant).
If you are a student organization with a connection to food, we encourage you to participate in our Student Club Fair & Activities on Monday, September 9th. We still have spots available! If interested, please contact Lisa Tin (
