UF Alumni at Carolina Landscape have 2 opportunities for AOM students. The Crew Leader is a training position great for recent graduates. The internship is for a Crew Member. Here are the basics of both positions. For more information on the company or to apply through the website, please visit:

CREW MEMBER - INTERNSHIP: Skills learned:
• Low Country plant material knowledge (Zones 8-10)
• Grading with machine & by hand
• Experience with mulch, sod & edging installment
• Plant installation, irrigation/ lighting installation & trouble-shooting
• Ability to understand and implement basic masonry skills: brick flatwork (both dry-laid and mortar joints), pavers, bluestone, etc.
• Operate & maintain a bobcat and mini skid-steer
• Experience with truck & trailer driving
• Ability to communicate enthusiastically and clearly
• Willingness to take direction and be open to new ideas/ practices
• Represent themselves and Carolina Landscape professionally
• Ability to lift and carry 50 LBS
CREW LEADER POSITION
The crew leader will be responsible for leading a crew of 2-4 members while executing installation projects for high-end residential clients. Additionally, they will be the front line representative for Carolina Landscape with existing and perspective clients.
Skills required:
• Experience with hand and machine grading, use of transit / laser level
• Proper plant, mulch, and sod installation
• Irrigation / Lighting installaton and trouble shooting
• Ability to understand and implement basic masonry skills: brick flatwork (both dry-laid and mortar joints), pavers, bluestone, etc.
