NAVFAC SE or Navy Facilities Engineering Command Southeast is located at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. The majority of our employees are civilians that support the Navy by building and maintaining installation facilities across the southeast region of the United States. Our area of responsibility (AOR) covers South Carolina to Cuba and Texas through Tennessee. We have 15 major installations and several reserve locations and special areas within the AOR. The two engineering positions are located within the Environmental Community of the command and will support petroleum environmental compliance, emergency response, and solid and hazardous waste compliance. We execute the Navy’s environmental compliance requirements through a mix of contracted and in-house efforts. These positions will provide the new employees the unique opportunity to support a spectrum of Navy operations across the southeast while using their engineering skills as civilians. These positions will
regularly work with a team of engineers and environmental professionals at the command and installation to understand and execute the requirements set forth by the regulatory community and the Navy.
