Project Description:
Oak Ridge National Laboratory seeks four engineering students for technical analysis and modeling as part of an interdisciplinary project to investigate on farm biomass processing for biofuel production. The selected individuals will collect and organize data from literature and field experiments and develop mathematical simulations of bioenergy feedstock supply operations. This project is part of a USDA-sponsored collaborative project led by the University of Kentucky (http://www.bae.uky.edu/BRDI/default.htm).
Qualifications:
Students who will be seniors in Fall 2014 are preferred, though juniors are also encouraged to apply. GPA of 2.5 or higher is required. Computer simulation experience is preferred. Applicants must be able to think independently and work effectively with others. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
Benefits:
Participating students will receive a monthly stipend and housing allowance. Special professional development and social opportunities will also be provided for students.

Position Available - Biological Scientist (Entomology /Molecular Entomology-Genetics)
Full-time OPS technical position funded through the UF Dept. of Entomology/Nematology is available immediately at the USDAARS Center for Medical, Agricultural and Veterinary Entomology to assist in research focused on the genetic transformation of the Asian citrus psyllid, Diaphorina citri (ACP).
Primary responsibilities will involve rearing and maintenance of ACP colonies and assisting in molecular genetic analyses and transformation experiments. Experience in either insect rearing or molecular entomology/genetics is required, and experience or coursework in both is preferable.
Salary commensurate with education and experience - applicants for part-time employment will be considered.

We are seeking students who have the desire to learn the operations of cattle hide processing and be trained to be a facility manager as their career progresses. I am looking for Operations Managers and Agricultural Engineers.
The Job details are as follows:
Operations Managers: (Minimum 5 Positions Available)
Locations Available: Texas (Ft. Worth and Amarillo), Nebraska (Omaha), Kentucky (Louisville), Idaho (Boise), Oregon (Portland).
Responsibilities are:
- Disciplined and well-organized
- Responsible for safety and well-being within the factory
- Daily Inventory Production
- Schedule of shipments
- Hands on management
- Responsible for the entire floor operations.
