Community and surroundings:
Ridge Spring is a wonderful community that is home to diverse agriculture including cattle, row crops, timber, peaches, vegetables, commercial pecans, and a farmer owned marketing/fertilizer co-op. It is located in Saluda County, which boasts the state’s most active cattlemen’s association with almost 400 members. Our small town has all the basics from a John Deere dealership to a hardware store and a bank. Several churches of different denominations are within ten miles of the farm. We are easily accessible from Interstate 20 and are 40 miles east of Augusta, GA and 50 miles west of Columbia, SC, both offering the conveniences of the city, for numerous shopping and recreational activities. (Aiken, SC is also nearby). The residents of Ridge Spring for the most part have agricultural roots and interests, which, along with the beauty of the area, make it a great place to raise cattle and a family.
