Syngenta is seeking a full-time Research Associate to work in the Quality Control Laboratory at Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC (formerly Pasteuria Bioscience, Inc.) located in the Sid Martin Biotechnology Incubator in Alachua FL.
Role Purpose
· Perform laboratory bench research supporting and conducting biological assays involving Pasteuria-based technologies around seed care and crop protection strategies within Syngenta.
· Provide technical data and reporting to support quality control for commercial product performance, research and development, and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge, experience and capabilities
Critical knowledge
· General laboratory skills and experience, including familiarity with general microbiological laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
· Solid knowledge and experience in the use of pipets, balances, and aseptic technique in handling and preparing microbiological and culture media.
