- Ordering raw materials as needed for plant production with the direction of the General Manager and Plant Manager.
- Find the most efficient and cost effective means for freighting the materials into the location.
- Gain an understanding of the Agris accounting software to set up purchase orders to obtain the raw materials (training will be provided)
- Use the accounting software tools to provide forecasts for raw material usage for production needs.
- Set up a system to track incoming materials. (training will be provided)
- Enter the Raw materials into the accounting software as it arrives into the production facility.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills, being able to work with all levels of management and hourly partners. • Should be good with mathematics, able to analyze formulas, and gain an understanding of raw material analyses.
- Must be self-motivated to perform simultaneous tasks without close, continuous supervision.
- Must be able to meet critical deadlines, prioritize, and practice excellent time management skills.
- Highly motivated, self starter, able to prioritize projects, accept responsibility and follow through without close supervision.
- Must be conscientious and good with details.
- Must be able to pass a background check, along with drug and alcohol tests.
- Must deal well with high pressure and tight lead times
- Confidentiality is a must.
- Must have dependable transportation.
As stated, we are a large fertilizer blender that has been in business since 1943. We pride ourselves on customer service, and quality products. This is a fairly fast paced environment. The person we are seeking will gain a complete understanding of how the Fertilizer and Chemical business works in Florida.
