Seeking agricultural/water resources engineer with 3+ years of experience to support ag engineering, economists and water resources engineers at boutique firm. Opportunity to learn and apply industry-leading sophisticated technology solutions; self-starters with excellent communication skills; Candidates must have proven track record of successfully working as part of a team, and effective communication skills. GIS and ICPR experience is a plus.
Qualifications for this role include:
· Understanding of agricultural irrigation systems and Florida’s consumptive use permits is important. Knowledge of current agricultural trends is a must. Experience with farm professionals, agronomists, and agricultural government entities is preferred.
· Must have a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering or Civil Engineering, or a related field such as Environmental Engineering, Biological Engineering, Water/Sanitation Engineering, or Agricultural Science. A master’s degree is a plus.
· Engineering Intern (E.I.) is required. Professional Engineering license (PE), or the willingness to obtain one, is preferred for the position.
