Crop Production Supervisor - Leaf
This family-owned, 89 year-old diversified company has an opening for a salaried, exempt position located in South Florida. The position allows one to work outdoors, contribute to a vital role, and join an existing vegetable production team to grow crops with high yields and excellent quality specifications to desired markets within budgetary limits. In addition, this position is a front-line supervisor to a small team of operators, reviewing employee actions, weekly payroll, and planting/spray schedules, plus following written standards of performance, and making any necessary recommendations. Individual is viewed as a leader, responsible land and water resource manager, will have the ability to learn a proven approach in growing existing crops, uses tools and follows recommendations from soil & leaf analysis, makes timely adjustments for necessary application methods due to weather, plus coordinates with other departments or personnel such as the ones shown below to help contribute to his or her success:

Required:
• 4 year Bachelor of Science degree in an agricultural major,
• 1 year of agricultural experience,
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving history,
• A good working knowledge of PC’s, internet, MS Word, and Excel.
• Post hire - pass company physical/drug screen, and background check.
