The Association of Cuban American Engineers (ACAE) and the Cuban-American Association of Civil Engineers (C-AACE) are glad to announce the 2017 Cuba Infrastructure Scholarship Competition!
It gives us great pleasure to invite all engineering students to participate in this year’s scholarship competition. Participants will get the chance to win a scholarship of up to $6,000 and the opportunity to network with engineering professionals from both public and private industry sectors. Please distribute the attached information to engineering faculty and students.

The Cuba Infrastructure Scholarship Competition entails that university student teams formulate and present a project of their choice on Cuba’s public infrastructure that relates to the engineering field in transportation, water resources, power/telecommunications, healthcare or agriculture.
Please note that the deadline for submitting a letter of interest to the CISC Committee is Friday September 30, 2016. A brief statement of interest along with any questions regarding the competition guidelines should be directed to the Chair of the 2017 CISC Committee: Regina Rodriguez (reggie17r@gmail.com, (305) 803-7387).
