Planting Profits™ is a new software company in the agribusiness space. We are looking for an upper-class or grad student for a p-t fall paid internship. Intern will gain knowledge and experience in market research, market analysis, strategy and product launch. Candidates should have a background/ interest in agriculture and be studying agribusiness, business, marketing or similar fields.
Activities include:
· Perform market research: TAM, channels, etc.
· Assist in development of regional marketing materials and approach.
· Collect and identify relevant county ag statistics.
· Identify relevant trends and opportunities in the area.
Required knowledge, skills and capabilities include:
· Strong organizational abilities and follow-through.
· Good communication skills.
· Analysis and critical thinking.
· Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, etc.
The internship will run from September-December, 2016. The position will require about 4-6 hours per week. Hours are flexible. Pay $15/hr. Will be great experience and likely provide a great reference!
