Summer Internships with SCA Open for Applications

Working closely with the National Park Service and the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the Student Conservation Association (SCA) has developed paid internships aimed at providing students with the mentorship and hands-on experience needed for the 21st century workforce.  Ideal candidates are: US citizens or permanent residents Undergraduate or graduate students during the 2016-2017 academic year who self-identify as being from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds Available for a 12-week summer internship Open-minded, with an adventurous spirit  Not necessarily experienced in conservation, but eager to learn more - all majors are welcome Interested students can learn more at: National Park Service Academy http://www.thesca.org/serve/program/nps-academy   US Fish and Wildlife Service Career Discovery Internship Program Targeted at first & second year students http://www.thesca.org/cdip Students participating in either of these programs will have their SCA application fee waived. Candidates are encouraged to apply by February 1st, but applications will continue to be reviewed until all positions have been filled.
