The Outstanding Student Award recognizes an outstanding undergraduate student member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) who excels scholastically and shows community involvement through participation in professional, local, regional, or international activities as demonstrated by activities and/or offices held. The recipient of this award will receive an Outstanding Student Award plaque and $500.
Eligibility
The applicant must be a student member of ASABE attending a nationally recognized undergraduate engineering program at an educational institution in Florida. He or she must be classified as a senior at some point during the calendar year of the award. In addition, the student must complete the application form and mail or e-mail the form by April 20, 2018 (postmark date).
Selection
The Awards Committee of the Florida Section of ASABE will select the recipient of the award. The student will be presented with the award at the 2018 ASABE Annual International Meeting at the Jupiter Beach Resort and Spa in Jupiter, Florida - June 13 - 16, 2018.
