The City of Gainesville is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for a Parks Maintenance Worker III who will be working in the Park Operations Division of the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department. A typical day may include servicing city athletic fields such as baseball, softball, soccer and track fields. The work involves performing mowing, cultural care such as aeration, fertilization, weed and pest management and inspections of city fields to make them look great. You will also work in other city parks taking care of general grounds maintenance needs such as litter pick up, repair of play equipment, landscape needs and other park tasks as assigned.
