Why SiteOne? https://www.siteone.com/
SiteOne Landscape Supply is the largest and ONLY national wholesale distributor of landscape supplies. We have over 500 locations throughout the United States and Canada. We service residential and commercial landscape professionals throughout all of these locations.
Brief History – SiteOne was formerly known as John Deere. In 2001, John Deere combined irrigation, nursery & agronomic product lines under a single distributor as John Deere Landscapes – this created a national footprint. John Deere Landscapes began an acquisition strategy and was eventually sold to CD&R, private equity firm. In 2015, we were branded SiteOne Landscape Supply and launched an IPO in June of 2016. We have a continued focus on organic growth and growth by acquisition. The growth has been very positive and we are constantly building our bench with future leaders.
We strive to be a GREAT place to work and offer a variety of positions.

Technology plays a key role in many fields, but it is not without limitations. Although technology has helped to make great advancements in data collection, there are times that the instruments themselves interfere in the measurements. The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) is hosting a problem-based challenge for undergraduate students. The challenge for undergraduates is to identify a situation in which an instrument interferes with its own measurements and data collection, and to propose a solution to the problem. Your proposal could win you a $5,000 scholarship! The deadline for this competition is Wednesday, April 3, 2019, and winners will be announced in early May.
Prizes:
1st place: $ 5,000 scholarship
2nd place: $ 3,000 scholarship
3rd place: $ 1,000 scholarship

Solar Stik Internship Program
Solar Stik is a small, but growing company focused on constant innovation and leading-edge technology in the ever evolving portable/hybrid power market. At the very core of our principles is the belief that developing application-based power solutions by using American-made products provides real value to the user. Our clients consist of The U.S. Army, Navy, Northrup Grumman, FBI, and other government agencies. Solar Stik employs several Gators, including COO Stephanie Hollis, M.D. We were also awarded the Gator100 Award in 2016. Please explore STIKopedia on our website to learn more about our technologies and design principles.
The objective of the Solar Stik Engineering Internship Program is to provide undergraduate students with valuable work experience in their field of study and opportunities to build on classroom learning by the observation and active participation in the day-to-day conduction of projects. Qualified applicants will participate in a two-part interview process including a brief initial phone interview with myself and a second in-person interview with the Engineering Department Manager. The internship is a part-time, temporary position of 90 days or less. Compensation is $12/hour, with a maximum of 30 hours per week. The daily scheduled hours will be determined by the department manager. Interns are responsible for arranging room and board accommodations independently.
Students should send their resumes and cover letter to Hannah Rhodes
hrhodes@solarstik.com, or to careers@solarstik.com. I have attached the KRAs for each position to provide interested students with more information, and have also posted the openings on the Gator Career Link.
