Summer Youth Counselor positions available with UF CPET

The University of Florida’s Center for Precollegiate Education and Training (UF CPET) has been developing and coordinating outreach programs for high-achieving high school students for 61 years. Collaborating with over 450 faculty from 75 departments across UF, our programs place high school students in high-caliber research and classroom settings to learn from faculty, scientists, and practitioners about cutting-edge research in all disciplines of science, engineering, medical fields, and the humanities. Each of our youth summer programs offer a different experience for students during their precollege academic explorations. We are hiring for a dynamic team of full-time Youth Program Counselors for summer 2019. This is a pre-professional position for upper-level undergraduate students, recent graduates, and graduate students. Formal training and professional development provided.

Youth Program Counselor positions last from 2-11 weeks, from early May until the end of July. The best counselors have excellent work ethic and time-management skills; are excellent communicators, team players, creative thinkers, self-starters, and role models; and have a great attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
