Located in Live Oak Florida, ELO started in 2015 to organically grow vegetables. In 2017, ELO develop an orchard program covering approximately 300 AC today. We also produce approximately 60 AC of organic vegetables.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage all farm production of agricultural products
· Oversee infrastructure development and management, irrigation, farm maintenance, safety, general appearance of the farm
· Supervise farm staff, volunteers and interns
· Manage weekly farm schedule, and fam-wide policies and procedures
· Manage farm record keeping, purchasing, billing, receiving and AR
· Ensure farm compliance with local, state and federal regulations, and maintain organic and food safety certification
· Manage annual budget and strategic development for the farm
· Host guests and lead tours and represent the farm to customers, neighbors and partners
· Engage with other organizations and opportunities throughout Florida and nationally
Qualifications
· Outstanding and proven skills in managing diverse teams with maximized productivity and efficiency
· Very strong interpersonal skills
· Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment use and safety
· Cooperative, service-oriented attitude and ability to work independently and take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
· Ability to be open and flexible to new ways of working with diverse communities
· Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks along with an ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, team environment
· Must be detail oriented
· Project Management experience
Compensation - Salary commensurate with experience
