Do you have a competitive streak and a passion for design?
Would you like the chance to share creative ideas for reshaping the DCP environment?
Are you interested in the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary team to produce innovative and sustainable design solutions for a NEW DCP building?
If so, please register for the Witters Competition before March 20th to participate in this design charrette. At a minimum, teams must consist of one student from the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and four students from the College of Design, Construction and Planning. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to compete. If you are struggling to find members from other majors to complete your team, do not worry—register and facilitators can help place you into a team. Don’t miss out on the chance to voice the student perspective in the design development of a new campus building.
The competition starts Friday, March 22nd at 5pm in the Architecture Atrium and final presentations will start Sunday, March 24th at 4pm at a location to be determined. The winning team will be awarded $3,500. More importantly, students will get to explore new and exciting possibilities for an innovative, non-territorial DCP building that reflects the College’s culture and vision as well as the University’s mission to rise to the top.
Please visit our website for more information about the Witters Competition and do not forget to fill out the registration form to participate. We look forward to seeing your ideas for DCP’s future!
