Location: North Mississippi Research and Extension Center
Qualifications: BS or MS degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agronomy, Biology, Biochemistry, or similar discipline. A strong background in but not limited to small fruit and/or vegetable production and willingness to conduct research in environmental stress physiology is preferred. Field, greenhouse, and laboratory work is required.
Essential Research Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and laboratory tasks related to plant environmental stress physiology, plant hormone
physiology, precision irrigation and sensor technologies, controlled environments, greenhouse
hydroponics, and evaluating management practices to develop a decision support system.
