In this course, you will learn what artificial intelligence (AI) is (from a high-level, conceptual standpoint) and how it is used to solve real-world problems in a wide variety of disciplines. This course will give you a broad overview of how AI technologies are transforming science, art, medicine, business, and more, and it will equip you to think about how AI might be applied to your own areas of interest. This course is intended for students from any major/discipline, and you do not need to have previous AI or technical expertise. Most class sessions will feature guest lectures from top AI researchers at UF who apply AI in their field. Class will meet online during 7th period on Tuesdays, from 1:55 PM to 2:45 PM.
