Starting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, the College of Engineering will open up its annual online scholarship application that any full-time enrolled student is eligible to fill out to be considered for a large number of college-level scholarships. Last year, the college awarded over $175,000 in scholarships, averaging at $1000 each, thanks to the generous donations of individual and corporate donors. These scholarships will be paid out next fall and spring semesters.
So, get ready! You might want to go ahead and dig up your high school information (name of school, GPA, etc.) and start to summarize your UF information, including cumulative GPA, discipline-specific GPA, participation in student organizations, internships/co-ops, and other great activities you have pursued that will complete your story for the selection process.
College-level scholarships are shown on the UF Foundation web site: https://www.uff.ufl.edu/Scholarships/ScholarshipsByUnit.asp?Unit=EG.
