The Florida Cattlemen's Association is in search of potential candidates to work as an intern to assist us here in Kissimmee office to prepare for our annual convention.
Most of the work is clerical -administrative assistant type work managing pre-registration processing material for the event, some creative writing, perhaps development of a few ads, assisting with general office functions of the Association.
This is a paid position for a 60-70 day period (May-& June ) based here in our office 5 days a week and possibly some opportunity to work some weekends to meet deadlines.
This intern will become a part of our team to finalize details and attend help execute the annual convention.It is a great opportunity to be exposed to A LOT of different people in the cattle business as well as many allied industry folks that take part in our annual meeting and tradeshow.
and exposes students to behind the scenes management of the association and managing the event.
It is a good experience and strengthens a resume.
