Develops new products from the initial concept though production release by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Takes charge of project design and ensures direction of project effort as predetermined by the project definition and criteria.
Acts as the Project Lead for the projects that are assigned and leads project design by following Senninger’s product development procedures.
Works closely with each project team discipline (tooling engineering, production engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, purchasing, quality, and vendors) to achieve project goals. Tasks include: developing criteria, timelines & schedules, in-house & field testing, prototype tooling, part approvals, facilitating production handoffs, and conducting design reviews.
Follows project document control procedures; maintains accuracy of drawings, processes ECR/ECNs, and prepares drawing for check-in/out from the Production Release Library.
Participates in the New Product Development Meetings. Responsible for updating and publishing assigned project information accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
