Fall Pharmacy Undergraduate elective

Medications and Health (PHA4933) is open to all undergraduates who may be interested in health care careers, particularly pharmacy; but also to undergraduates who would like to learn about the use of medications and wellness as a consumer. The course will cover the basics about the use of medications to treat selected diseases. This will include the use of selected prescription medications, non-prescription drugs, and dietary supplements. Topics related to health and wellness will also be addressed, as well as topics related to the future of pharmacy practice. The class will be taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8th Period in the Communicore building room C1-1 section number 05HA 2 credits.
