AgCareers.com and Agriculture Future of America (AFA) are pleased to announce the release of a new video series dedicated to college students: Navigating the Job Search Process.
This series, consisting of seven "chapter" videos, features human resource and hiring professionals from prominent agricultural organizations throughout the United States giving advice to students regarding various topics prevalent in the job search. These topics include creating a LinkedIn profile, networking, making a good first impression, forming connections, writing resumes and cover letters, and interviewing.
Inspired by a group of your peers in career services, the video series has been created as a means for post-secondary students to receive firsthand advice from agribusiness professionals who may not be able to make an in-person appearance on their campus. Agriculture, life sciences, and natural resources career services professionals are invited to also utilize the video series in campus classrooms to help students understand what employers are looking for as they navigate the job search process.
You can access the video series via YouTube here or from from the CALS website at http://cals.ufl.edu/students/career-resources.
