I am seeking to hire a PhD student as a research assistant (RA) in the
fields of hydrodynamics a sediment transport modeling. The position will
be housed in department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at
Mississippi State University. The work will involve simulating a variety
of methods to promote sediment deposition in coastal wetlands.
An undergraduate or M.S. in engineering is required. Experience is
preferred in at least two of the following fields: numerical modeling,
hydrodynamics, sediment transport, computer coding, or GIS.
Full tuition, insurance, and stipend will be provided.
