UF’s American Water Resources Association Student Chapter in partnership with the Howard T. Odum Florida Springs Institute will be hosting the 2nd Annual Give Springs a Break Weekend this coming weekend, April 10-12th. All college students across Florida (both undergraduate and graduate) are invited to attend for a weekend of student networking, environmental advocacy, springs seminars, and of course tubing, snorkeling, volleyball, and camping!(There are one day access and one-night camping options as well) One of our sponsors, Swamp Head Brewery will be providing beverages Friday and Saturday night too! You do not want to miss this amazing opportunity to connect with students in related fields all around Florida while learning from some of the greatest minds in Florida springs ecology and advocacy. short paragraph or two explaining why you believe this educational weekend
would be beneficial to you. If you have any photographs or videos you believe
could supplement your essay we strongly encourage you to send them as well.
Please turn in all submissions by Wednesday, 4/8, at 6pm and you will be
contacted the following morning whether or not you have received the
scholarship.
