Get the skills to become a better leader! - Did you know that 80.6% of employers are looking to see leadership skills on a candidates resume? We can help you stand out from the crowd at LeadUF, a two-day overnight leadership retreat April 18 and 19. (It's also a perfect way to take a little break before exams!)
You will get a chance to learn and practice leadership in the context of working with others. Here's just some of what you'll learn about:
Group Dynamics
Learning from Failure
Social Justice
Giving and Receiving Feedback
Conflict Management
Communication
Ethics
LeadUF is unique because it was design by UF faculty and staff based off of the leadership experiences on the UF campus. You won't find that anywhere else! But you have to hurry! Deadline for facilitator applications: Friday, March 20. Participant applications (academic year 2015-2016 sophomores and juniors only) open Monday, March 16 and close Monday, April 6. http://bit.ly/leadUF15 or email Stacie Schultz at StacieS@leadershipandservice.ufl.edu.
