Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) is looking for a topnotch and dynamic Manager, PROS Fruit & Spice Park. PROS Department’s mission is to build a healthier community through the implementation of its Parks Open Space Master Plan. One of the main goals of the plan is to connect people to nature and the outdoors by building a system of great parks, public spaces, natural and cultural areas, connected by greenways, blueways and streets, designed as linear parks. The outcome will be a more economically, socially and environmentally vibrant community!
Minimum Salary: $51,778.48 – Maximum Salary: $87,108.58
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree. Three years of professional experience in the development and maintenance of a botanical garden or similar exotic garden. Additional experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Candidates must possess a valid State of Florida Driver License. A Master's Degree in Horticulture, Botany or Landscape Architecture is preferred.
