POSITION LEVEL: Part-time temporary position at 30 hours per week, for 40 weeks, beginning February 1, 2017 - extension possible after review.
DESCRIPTION: The Hispanic Farmer and Operator Recruiter will utilize strategic community
building and organizing techniques to engage Hispanic farmers and operators in select states.
Important stakeholders that need to be enlisted and linked to outreach program activities
include, but are not limited to: local Hispanic leaders, elected officials, church leaders, service
providers, nonprofit leaders, USDA staff, and Cooperative Extension personnel. (For complete

SALARY AND BENEFITS: Salary is $15.00/hr., 30 hours per week for 40 weeks, mileage and
holidays.
