Engineering students wishing to apply for the HWCOE University Scholars award must follow the application instructions and
requirements on the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering websites (not UF
Center for Undergraduate Research websites/requirements).
Students are no
longer required to submit a one-page statement on their proposed research
project unless individual engineering faculty require this. The College
