Internship Opportunities:- Field and Fork Program

Field and Fork Community Outreach Coordinator:

This person would work with the Field and Fork team to develop communications and outreach efforts for the Farm and gardens. Primary duties include informational presentations, website design, social media management, tabling and flyering, event planning/coordiantion for the Field and Fork Program. The internship is volunteer, but can qualify for Federal Work Study, and will be aprox. 10 hours per week. Interns are also expected to attend regular intern meetings. Experience with graphic design and communications is preferred. 

Local Food Recovery and Garden Coordinator

This person will be working with Grace Marketplace, UF/IFAS Field and Fork, and Forage to develop and coordinate a gleaning/foraging program with local farmers in the area. This person would be exploring avenues to get unused produce from local producers to those in need, and would be coordinating the collection of this food for donation to Grace Marketplace. This person would also help care for the Grace Marketplace garden. The internship is volunteer but can qualify for Federal Work Study, and will be aprox.10 hours a week. The successful candidate needs to have their own transportation to visit area farms and the garden at Grace Marketplace - NE 39th Ave and Waldo Road. Gardening experience preferred.
