Startup Job & Internship Fair 2/7


Do you dream of working for a startup and learning about entrepreneurship? If yes, come to the Startup Job & Internship Fair on Feb. 7 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Reitz Union North Entrance.

This fair will give you an opportunity to connect with local employers and to ask them about their current internship and full-time job openings. This event is open to UF students and alumni only. Submit Your Resume for the CALS Career Expo Employer CD


CALS students are invited to submit their resumes for a CD that will be distributed to all registered employers. This is not a substitute for attending the CALS Career Expo, but is intended as an additional way to get your name in front of recruiters. Resumes should be no more than two pages and must be submitted by Jan. 25 in Word of PDF format at https://ufl.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_d12rUfTkmEH8ZTL. Uploading your resume for inclusion on the CD indicates permission to share it with registered employers. Students who need assistance with their resumes can visit the CRC Library (J. Wayne Reitz Union) on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. or request a career planning appointment.

The CALS Career Expo will be held Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the J. Wayne Reitz Union, Grand Ballroom. All students and alumni are welcome to attend. Visit www.cals.ufl.edu/careerexpo for preparation tips and a list of participating employers/organizations.

E-Week and the Engineering Leadership Forum 2/23

Engineering Leadership Forum (ELF) is a unique event held during UF’s annual Engineers’ Week that will promote professional development and expose you to a wide variety of opportunities within engineering and related fields. A diverse group of speakers from industry, the UF faculty and student organizations will be there to share their experiences and talk to you about the role engineering has played in their lives. Activities will focus on opportunities for you to get involved and gain your own experiences within research/academia, study abroad, leadership, and professional internships. Throughout the event, you will be able to network with attending VIPs in between sessions and ask all of your questions. This event will be an invaluable experience for you to take the next step in your engineering career.

ASABE General Body Meeting 1/31/17


ASABE will be holding their General Body Meeting on *January 31st* at First Magnitude Brewery. We will meet there at *5:15pm* and it is open to members

18 and up. The tour is free, but bring money if you are interested in drinking during the tour. *Only 30 people* can attend so be sure to go to the link listed below to secure your spot. We will offer carpooling from Rogers Hall at 4:45pm. Trivia night starts at 6:30pm if you are interested in staying. Hope to see you there!
