Summer Internships with SCA Open for Applications


Working closely with the National Park Service and the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the Student Conservation Association (SCA) has developed paid internships aimed at providing students with the mentorship and hands-on experience needed for the 21st century workforce. 

Ideal candidates are:
  • US citizens or permanent residents
  • Undergraduate or graduate students during the 2016-2017 academic year who self-identify as being from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds
  • Available for a 12-week summer internship
  • Open-minded, with an adventurous spirit 
  • Not necessarily experienced in conservation, but eager to learn more - all majors are welcome

Students participating in either of these programs will have their SCA application fee waived. Email recruiting@thesca.org to let us know you are applying and request a fee waiver. 

Application review is currently underway! Candidates are encouraged to apply by February 1st, but applications will continue to be reviewed until all positions have been filled.
