College Intern - Bureau of Water Resources

Job Summary: 
This internship will expose the candidate to a myriad of projects and tasks ranging from data interpretation, data QA/QC, ArcMap construction, light statistics, literature review and research, and some opportunity for field data collection. Intern will work with software programs including: Excel, Access, ArcMap, PowerPoint, and Basecamp. Proficiency in software’s is not required, but familiarity is preferred. The internship will be for a period of 16 weeks, two 9-hour days per week. The two days are optional from Monday-Thursday (flexibility every other Friday is also available) from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Minimum Qualifications: 
A college or university student currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program and either attending classes or participating in a work experience program sanctioned by the individual school; at least a junior level, and working in the occupational area of his or her course of study.

All student must maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher.
 
Salary: $12.00/hour
