The UF Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program is currently seeking talented undergraduates to apply for the 2019-2020 cohort. The program prepares students for doctoral studies through engagement in research and other scholarly activities. The mission is to increase Ph.D. attainment by students from underrepresented segments of society and to encourage their entry into teaching and research careers.
The program is available to rising juniors and seniors with at least 60 credit hours beginning summer 2019 and who are expected to graduate between spring 2020 and spring/summer 2021. Visit http://mcnair.aa.ufl.edu for additional eligibility requirements. Applications are due January 31.
